Otherwise, sign up for one of these websites offering free domains with the purchase of hosting and create your account using the email address you’ll also use to log in when setting up WordPress or Typepad on your computer. Once your account is created, go back to the main website interface and select Domains from the drop-down menu. Pick a top-level domain (TLD) like .com or .net, then type in the word website for both second-level domains. Enter whatever URL you’d like the domain to point towards, then click Add Domain; this should take you back to your dashboard, where you can continue configuring your website by selecting Hosting.

Some people have a hard time starting their own blog. It’s not as difficult as you might think, though! Here are some tips on how to start your own successful blog:
- Pick a topic that interests you and do your research, so you know what you’re talking about
- Find an interesting way to frame it
- Create an outline with points or topics you want to cover
